CBH Medical joins the Virginia Association of Regional Jails dinner

CBH Medical was proud to join superintendents, administrators and board members from across the Commonwealth at the Virginia Association of Regional Jails dinner, an evening that brings together the people responsible for Virginia's regional jail system.

Virginia's regional model brings several localities together under one facility and one authority. That asks a great deal of a healthcare partner: a single program has to meet the expectations of every member locality, care for a large and varied population, and stay ready for state and national accreditation reviews. Those were the conversations around the table, from behavioral health and medication-assisted treatment to staffing and continuity of care when patients return to their communities.

With regional clinical leadership based in Virginia, CBH Medical values every chance to spend time with the jail leaders we work alongside and to meet new colleagues from across the state.
