CBH Medical was proud to take part in the New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association Annual Training Conference in Atlantic City, joining wardens, deputy wardens and county corrections leaders from across the state for several days of training, discussion and connection.
Executive Vice President of Operations Karen Sugden and Regional Nurse Practitioner Anne White hosted the CBH Medical booth throughout the conference, meeting county leaders and talking through the questions that matter most inside a jail: behavioral health demand, medication-assisted treatment, staffing stability and how programs built to NCCHC and ACA standards keep a facility ready for its next survey. President Emre Umar also attended and spent time with partners and colleagues from across New Jersey.
The conference opened with a color guard presentation under the Association's banner and its motto, “Serving New Jersey with Pride.” For CBH, which began providing care at the Ocean County Department of Corrections on October 1, the event was a welcome chance to thank the New Jersey corrections community for its partnership and to introduce our team to more of it.
Our thanks to the New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association for a well-run and welcoming conference. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
